I'm Chantel Bingham

A proud native of Versailles, KY, and the eldest child of Geraldine and the late Charles Brown, Jr. I am happily married to Vincent Bingham and the mother of three wonderful boys, Dwayne, Jonah, and Jaxson.


I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Public Administration from Kentucky State University. For the past eight years, I've had the honor of serving as the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Versailles, becoming the first African-American female to hold this position. In January 2023, I was elected to the Versailles City Council, where I've been working tirelessly to represent our community.


My career has been dedicated to public service, from roles with Berea College and various state departments. to Site-Base Decision-Making Councils and volunteering with senior citizens, coaching at the Falling Spring Recreation Center, and fostering children with my husband.


I'm running for office to represent the 56th District because I believe in moving Kentucky forward and investing in our future. My mission is to make Kentucky the best version of itself for us, our children, and future generations. With my background in public administration and a deep love for our community, I am dedicated to serving and advocating for the people of our district, ensuring a brighter future for all.
