Chantel Bingham is a native of Versailles, Kentucky and the oldest child of Geraldine Brown and the late Charles Brown, Jr. She is happily married to Vincent Bingham of Nicholasville, KY and the proud mother of three beautiful boys, Dwayne (25), Jonah (10) and Jaxson (7).

Chantel Bingham is a native of Versailles, Kentucky and the oldest child of Geraldine Brown and the late Charles Brown, Jr. She is happily married to Vincent Bingham of Nicholasville, KY and the proud mother of three beautiful boys, Dwayne (25), Jonah (10) and Jaxson (7).
Chantel Bingham is a 1992 graduate of the University of Kentucky where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She is also a 2005 graduate of Kentucky State University holding a Masters of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Human Resource Management and maintained a 4.0 GPA.
Chantel Bingham has served as the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Versailles for the past eight years. She is the first African-American female to serve in this official position.
In January 2023, Bingham was elected to Versailles City Council (January 2023-December 2024).
Chantel Bingham has held the position of Assistant Director of People Services/Human Resources Department at Berea College. During her service at the Commonwealth of Kentucky, She held the positions of Assistant Director of the Kentucky Department of Parks; Employment Recruiter/Staff Assistant to the Commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Fish & Wildlife Resources; Project Manager/ Development Liaison with the Kentucky Sports Authority and Adventure Tourism/Kentucky Recreational Trails Authority, where she managed special projects in regards to recreational trails in Kentucky assigned by the Secretary of Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet, Lt. Governor Daniel Mongiardo and First Lady Jane Beshear.
Bingham has an enthusiastic passion for working with senior citizens. She has worked with the Woodford Co Fair Pageants from 1999 to 2020.
She has also served as a parent representative on Northside Elementary and Woodford County Middle and High School Site-Base Decision-Making Councils.
Chantel was a Commissioner of Versailles-Midway-Woodford County Planning and Zoning Commission. She has also served as the Chair the Versailles, Midway, Woodford County Human Rights Commission.
She is also a member of the Justice Ministry at Consolidated Baptist Church in Lexington, KY. In addition, she is COO, Producer and Writer of His Will, My Hands Production Company that she, her husband and son Dwayne founded in July 2020.
Bingham also works as a cheerleading and volleyball coach for Falling Spring Recreation Center.
Chantel and her husband are current foster parents who have fostered nine foster children and counting since 2014. In her spare time she enjoys reading, Kentucky Wildcats, advocating for health and wellness and involving herself and family in activities that improve our community.
